This policy describes how Asenyo handles your personal data. Your personal data is only collected for the purpose of (improving) the service, and is processed in accordance with the provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDG), also known as General Data Protection Regulation or ‘GDPR’. When is personal data collected?
Website visit
When you visit the website and accept the analytical cookies, cookies are stored that track behavior on the website. This is only anonymous data, your IP address, for example, is not tracked. If you only accept functional cookies, your visitor behavior is not tracked at all.
Google Analytics (USA) is used to analyze visitor numbers and behavior on the website. A processing agreement has been concluded with Google Analytics, containing conditions on what may and may not be stored. When you are in Asenyo’s marketing database, for example after subscribing to the newsletter or downloading a whitepaper, your visitor behavior is stored at a personal level if you accept analytical cookies. This happens in HubSpot (USA), the marketing software through which Asenyo’s marketing communications are sent. Visitor behavior tracking is standard in the website and serves to analyze and improve the effectiveness of marketing, as well as to send personalized content. We keep this data for as long as you are enrolled in HubSpot, with a maximum retention period of 5 years.
Contacting us
When you contact us through the website, you are actively leaving your information. When you contact us by email, your mail will arrive in Gmail from Google Workspace (USA). When you contact via WhatsApp, your message arrives in Asenyo’s business WhatsApp account. WhatsApp belongs to Metaverse, the former Facebook (USA) and messages are stored encrypted. Your contact information and message content is used to contact you regarding your question or comment. The maximum retention period is 5 years.
Subscribe to newsletter or download gated content
When you subscribe to the newsletter or download gated content, such as a white paper via a landing page, your contact information is stored in HubSpot’s marketing software (USA). This is the data you leave yourself, such as first and last name, e-mail address and, in some cases, your phone number. This data is kept for as long as you are subscribed to our marketing communications, with the aim of sending you interesting content or personalized offers. You can always unsubscribe yourself via the unsubscribe link in the email, or contact us.
Business relationship
When you use Asenyo’s marketing services, additional data is stored. When you use Asenyo’s services, your company data will be stored in the accounting software Moneybird (NL) in order to send offers and invoices. We also use this data to send marketing communications and communicate with you. This data is kept for as long as the partnership runs, and up to 5 years thereafter.
Right of access, modification and oblivion
Under the AVG, you have several rights that you may invoke at any time. You always have the right to:
- Request and inspect your data;
- Have your data changed;
- Have your data deleted (in a specific system);
- have your data deleted from all systems (right of oblivion).
If you make the changes or deletion yourself, such as when you unsubscribe from the newsletter, you have immediately deleted your data. If you make a request for changes to be made, Asenyo will process it as soon as possible and at least within 30 days, except for special circumstances such as vacation or extended illness.
Submitting a request
For the newsletter, you can unsubscribe yourself via the unsubscribe link in the email. For all other requests, please contact us via the contact page. Please state clearly:
- Your first and last name
- Your e-mail address
- Which changes you want to make or which data you want to delete
Transfer to third parties
We do not pass on any data to third parties other than the aforementioned parties.
Minors
We only process personal data of minors (persons under 16 years of age) if written consent has been given by the parent or legal representative.
We have absolutely no intention of collecting data on website visitors who are minors, even if they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is a minor. Therefore, please ensure that you are involved in the online activities of your minor children to prevent their data from being processed by us or our partners.

Personal data is backed up for recovery in the event of a physical or technical incident. All of Asenyo’s contracted third parties have been informed of the importance of protecting personal data and privacy.
Automatic storage of non-personal data
During a visit to this website, data are automatically stored about the use of the website. This is only non-personal and anonymous data (for example, your IP address is not tracked). We analyze that information with Google Analytics (read Google and Google Analytics’ privacy policy for more info) in order to improve our website, however, no personal information is tracked or transmitted to Google and to other third parties.
